Asiyath obtained a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at Kuala Lumpur Infrastructure University College and graduated in 2012. On return she joined Fenaka Corporation Limited where she was responsible for designing and drafting island sewerage systems and providing technical advice to contractors in addition to monitoring and coordinating the projects for timely delivery and quality. At Fenaka she was the Vice Chair for Tender Committee for the years 2015 and 2016. In 2017, Asiyath won Australia Awards Scholarship and went on to study Master of Sustainability at the University of Sydney where she graduated in 2018.

Asiyath joined Design Express in August 2018 for Zonaria project for daily inspection, quality monitoring and project progress evaluation during the finishing stage of the building. Since then she is working as part of the structural design team at Design Express and have been involved in numerous projects. Some of the projects include Villa College South Wing Tower 2, Villa College 3 Storey Classroom Block, Soneva Fushi Resort Upgrading, Silverge Aage, Finolhu, and Jeem Guesthouse.
